CREST
CREST is the real-time settlement system for UK, Irish and International securities and government bonds. It has over 10,000 members. The CREST SWIFT service was established to increase the automation and connectivity to foreign depositories for the CREST settlement system.SMA Financial piloted bureau connectivity to the CREST Service over SWIFT and a range of small to large brokers use the SMA Financial Bureau to outsource their CREST and/or FIN connection, reducing their administration and maintenance costs considerably.
